About

This summer, I will be biking about 4,300 miles from Baltimore, MD, to San Diego, CA, in the effort to raise support and awareness for those dealing with cancer. I will be doing this with a team of  28 other riders, and we all ride as part of a program called “4K for Cancer.” It is a program of the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults that seeks to help young adults dealing with cancer, a group that does not receive as much attention in the cancer world.

Along the way across the United States, we will be visiting hope lodges, giving out chemo care packages, and conducting various other service projects to help cancer patients. Our goal is to inspire these people and give them the hope that they are not alone in this fight.

I have created this blog in order to document my trip – the amazing sights I see, some of the life-changing experiences I may have, and the changes I hope to make within the lives of those dealing with cancer.
